This doesn't mean, however, that Cake can use two (or more) core CPUs - it can't! However, making the code thread safe is the first step toward a parallel version of Cake. I don't really know whether that will ever happen, but I do hope to eventually rewrite my book builder for my totally awesome quad core machine :-)Martin Fierzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06586804738356245526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10699902.post-76172884498762577712007-12-02T00:51:00.000+01:002007-12-02T00:51:00.000+01:00you know, I didnt mean checkers I meant connect 4 ...you know, I didnt mean checkers I meant connect 4 v.4.01Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01975633606326350445noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10699902.post-55686304302511229862007-12-01T02:49:00.000+01:002007-12-01T02:49:00.000+01:00tried your checkers x64 in vista x64 ultimate. An easy way to implement this would be enable ponder and in engine-engine matches it will use two cores constantly.Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01975633606326350445noreply@blogger.com
